Caroline Spillane

Caroline Spillane is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Investment Funds Group. Her practice focuses primarily on business development companies (BDCs) and regulatory matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. She advises BDCs and investment advisers on formation, regulatory and transactional matters, including fund structuring, advisory fee economics, governance, exemptive relief and other regulatory and operational matters.

Caroline also represents clients in connection with private fund matters, including fund formation and secondary transactions. Her practice encompasses a range of alternative investment structures and includes advising clients on both the regulatory and transactional aspects of their investment management businesses.
