January 9, 2017 (LONDON) – International law firm Proskauer has announced today the arrival of leading Tax partner Stephen Pevsner in the Firm’s London office.

Mr. Pevsner's practice focuses on UK and international M&A and private equity transactions, corporate reorganizations, and new business formations. Offering a broad range of corporate tax strategy experience, his clients include global corporations, investment banks, and private equity sponsors and investors. In addition to his wealth of transactional knowledge he also has substantive experience advising on the formation of private investment funds and the establishment of investment management and advisory limited partnerships.
The arrival of Mr. Pevsner follows a number of recent high-profile additions to Proskauer's London office, as it continues to grow its corporate platform, including M&A and private equity partners Rob Day, Andrew Wingfield and Eleanor Shanks, finance partner Ben Davis, and private equity real estate partners Joanne Owen and Vikki McKay.
The team in London continues to work with some of the most active players in the asset management community and is enjoying recognition for its success in the UK market after being awarded London Office of the Year just last month at the British Legal Awards. Recent headline transactions include advising Lion Capital on the sale of ghd to Coty Inc., and on the acquisition of restaurant chain Loungers; Bruin Sports Capital on the acquisition of Deltatre; European Capital on its provision of unitranche financing to support Livingbridge’s investment in rhubarb; and Hong Kong-listed Magnificent Real Estate on its acquisition of Travelodge London Kings Cross Hotel. Other highlight transactions include advising Ares Management on its €2.5 billion European direct lending Fund, Ares Capital Europe III, and the fundraisings of both Montagu Private Equity on its €2.75 billion Fund V and Gilde Buy Out Partner on its €1.1 billion Fund V.
