NEW YORK, October 2, 2020 – Recognized for his excellence in the field, partner Stephen Gruberg has been named among 40 Rising Stars under 40 by Private Debt Investor. 

Stephen is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Credit Group and the Leveraged Finance Group. His principal focus is the representation of leading private credit providers, direct lenders and investment banks in a wide range of leveraged loan transactions across the capital structure spectrum, with a particular focus on leveraged sponsor buyouts, acquisition financings and leveraged recapitalizations. 

Over the past year, he has led more than 20 deals worth over $6.6 billion in aggregate as part of the Private Credit Group. He has also been a mentor for Proskauer’s Diverse Lawyer Mentoring Circle Program, which was launched in 2014 and provides diverse junior associates with programming and deeper mentoring connections within the Firm.
