May 4, 2022 (London) – Proskauer’s Private Funds Group has been shortlisted for Funds Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards for its market leading work for Ardian, in connection with the recent GP-led restructuring of assets managed by General Atlantic.
The deal is one of the largest GP-led transactions in the secondaries market, with the continuation fund closing with more than $3 billion of new capital commitments, facilitating the purchase of four portfolio companies from existing investors of General Atlantic.
The growth of secondaries over the past decade has been fueled by specialist firms like Ardian raising larger secondary funds dedicated to acquiring portfolio investments.
