October 23, 2018 (HONG KONG) – Proskauer’s client Formosa International Hotels Corporation was recognized for its role in “M&A Deal of the Year” at the annual Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP) conference. Proskauer represented Formosa in its agreement for the sale of a 51% stake in the Regent Hotels and Resorts brand to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), with options to acquire the additional interests, and the formation of a joint venture with IHG. The Proskauer team was led by partner Yuval Tal and associate Vivian Ho with assistance from partner Jeffrey Horwitz. Formosa is an international luxury hospitality group based in Taiwan.
