May 24, 2017 (LOS ANGELES) – Pippa Bond and Sandy Crawshaw-Sparks have been named to the Daily Journal’s annual list of “Top Women Lawyers.”
Pippa, a partner in the Corporate Department and co-head of the global Capital Markets Group, was selected for her role as lead counsel in a range of diverse and high-value deals, including her recent representations of Ares Management. A longtime client, she has advised Ares Management in its IPO and other offerings of equity and debt. The Daily Journal also recognized Pippa’s recent work in the retail sector, noting her for representing Smart & Final Stores Inc. in its follow-on secondary offering of 10 million shares, raising $185 million in gross proceeds.
Sandy, a media and entertainment lawyer and partner in the Litigation Department, was noted for representing many high-profile clients who include Madonna, Lady Gaga, U2, Sony Music Entertainment and The Recording Academy in highly sensitive intellectual property matters. The Daily Journal also notes Sandy for her successful representation of Madonna, WB Music Corp. and related entities in a copyright infringement case concerning Madonna’s hit song “Vogue.”
