June 18, 2018 (LOS ANGELES) – Recognized for his excellence and accomplishment as a litigator, partner Michael Firestein has been selected as a fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society whose membership is limited to less than one-half of one percent of North American lawyers, judges and scholars.
Michael is vice-chair of Proskauer’s Litigation Department and co-head of West Coast Litigation. He handles a wide range of commercial litigation on behalf of private equity funds, financial institutions, securities brokerages, investment advisors, fiduciaries, real estate operating companies and entertainment corporations.
The fellow selection process includes LCA advisory board member input, evaluation of client selection of counsel, nominations by other fellows, input from active and retired judges, and practicing attorney opinions. The advisory board of the LCA is composed of fellows from a wide variety of firms and practice areas around the country. The LCA was established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century and represents the best in law among its membership.
