July 26, 2017 (NEW YORK) – Evandro Gigante, partner in Proskauer’s Labor & Employment Law Department, has been named a 2017 Rising Star by the New York Law Journal. This list honors lawyers, 40 years old or younger, who are excelling in the New York legal community. He was recognized for his outstanding legal work, extensive leadership and dedication to volunteerism.

Working across a wide range of industries, Evandro represents clients in a variety of labor and employment matters, and serves as co-head of Proskauer’s Employment Litigation & Arbitration and Terminations, Reductions in Force & WARN Act Groups. Passionate about fostering diversity in the legal profession and giving back to his community, Evandro has co-chaired Proskauer’s Hispanic/Latino Lawyer Affinity Group and, in 2016, he represented Proskauer in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellows program.
