Zack Klinger is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the White Collar Defense & Investigations and Insurance Recovery & Counseling practices. Zack focuses on resolving complex commercial disputes in a variety of areas including securities, financial services, insurance coverage, sports, trade secrets and real estate. Zack has experience across all phases of the legal process, from advisory matters to trial in both state and federal proceedings. Zack also regularly represents corporations and individuals in connection with internal, regulatory and criminal investigations.
Zack maintains an active pro bono practice and has been awarded Proskauer’s Golden Gavel award for his excellence in pro bono work. He has represented clients in immigration and family court in connection with applications for asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, as well as in the area of gun safety. In addition, Zack serves on the Supporters Club Board of South Bronx United, an organization that uses soccer as a tool for social change.
During law school, Zack served as a senior editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, participated in the Children’s Rights Clinic and interned for the Honorable Alvin K. Hellerstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to law school, Zack was a paralegal at Brafman and Associates, where he assisted with a number of multi-week state and federal court criminal trials.
