Melissa DiGrande is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. Practicing complex commercial litigation, she has worked on high-profile matters such as the Puerto Rico debt restructuring and the litigation stemming from the potential relocation of the MLS Columbus Crew soccer team.
Melissa has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including professional sports, lodging, pharmaceuticals, and private equity.
Her experience is diverse, having handled contract disputes, business torts, white collar crime issues, insurance coverage matters and bankruptcy litigation.
Advocating for good, Melissa’s active pro bono practice focuses on immigration law and asylum issues. She has represented individuals seeking asylum in the United States, led research projects for Everytown for Gun Safety, and volunteered for the Election Protection hotline to support voters’ rights.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Melissa earned a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she completed a certificate program in business management at The Wharton School and served as an executive editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.
