Meika Freeman is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department. She assists clients in a wide range of employment law matters, including discrimination and harassment, non-compete and trade secrets, and whistleblowing and retaliation.
Keeping clients informed of significant developments in those legal areas, Meika writes for Proskauer’s Law and the Workplace Blog and her work has been published by Bloomberg and Law360.
Meika currently serves as Secretary of the Federal Bar Council Employment Litigation Committee. She is also an Attorney Mentor in the Legal Outreach Mentoring Program, which pairs students in New York City public high schools with practicing attorneys.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Meika graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center where she was an Executive Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. While in law school, Meika was a judicial intern for the Honorable Marcy Friedman of the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division.
