Lisa Goldstein is an associate in the Registered Funds Group. Lisa advises clients on regulatory and transactional matters involving registered open-end and closed-end investment companies and their investment advisers. She regularly represents the funds in several large, open-end fund complexes and those funds’ independent board members in their ongoing regulatory responsibilities. Lisa also often counsels her clients through large scale projects responding to changes in the marketplace. For example, she recently assisted in the restructuring of a client’s money market fund operations, comprising approximately $220 billion in cash assets.
Lisa has counseled various independent board member clients through a range of extraordinary events such as responding to SEC examination deficiency letters, preparing for SEC interviews, private litigations and investment adviser transitions.
Lisa serves as secretary of the Women's Investment Management Forum, a networking and educational organization for women in the investment management industry. She also serves as a board member of Mercy Home for Children, an organization that provides essential services for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including residential services in Brooklyn, Queens and Nassau County.
