Jacob Hirsch is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department, and assists his clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters. Jacob has experience practicing in federal court and before administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board. Jacob’s practice includes a focus on traditional labor law, assisting clients with arbitration proceedings, responding to unfair labor practice charges, and advising on all aspects of the collective bargaining process.
Jacob has represented clients across various sectors and industries, including financial institutions, healthcare institutions, sports entities, public transportation services, and news and media outlets.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Jacob interned at the Lawyers Alliance for New York, where he contributed to various business transactions carried out on behalf of nonprofit clients across the New York metropolitan area.
Jacob earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where he was executive editor of the Environmental Law Journal. In addition, he volunteered as a trained mediator in Bronx Small Claims Court and other New York City community dispute resolution centers.
