Henrique Carneiro

Henrique Carneiro is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust and Appellate Groups. Most recently, Henrique was a trial team member representing Sanderson Farms in a lawsuit alleging a price-fixing conspiracy in the chicken industry. The Proskauer team secured a full defense verdict after a six-week jury trial, defeating $7 billion in damages claims. He has also drafted appellate briefs filed in the First and Second Circuits, as well as the California Supreme Court.

 

Henrique earned his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. During law school, he interned for Judge Amy St. Eve of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.

 

Henrique is also a jazz trumpet player. He graduated from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2018 and has performed at various venues in New York City, including Jazz at Lincoln Center.
