Doriane Shannon is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, where she focuses on M&A and private equity transactions in addition to general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, corporate restructurings and commercial contracts.
She has been involved in transactions of both a domestic and international nature and advises French and international clients (whether industrial or private equity clients) on the legal aspects of their investments in France. Doriane’s experience spans domestic and cross-border mergers, business sales and acquisitions and minority investments.
Doriane is also strongly involved in the pro bono work of the Paris office.
Based on peer reviews, Doriane was named as “One to Watch” by the publication Best Lawyers In France in the 2022 and 2023 editions. She was also one of a few women selected to be a Protégée for Proskauer’s Women Sponsorship Program, an initiative for high performing midlevel lawyers that champions emerging leaders.
She received a Master’s Degree in economic law, specializing in companies, markets and regulation, from the Law School of the Paris Institute of Political Studies and studied law and politics at the University of Manchester in England.
