Crispin Daly is an associate in the Firm's Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group, with a focus on insolvency-based litigation, particularly in relation to cross-border insolvency issues.
He has represented liquidators, administrators, fixed-charge receivers, creditors and creditors' committees, shareholders and directors in a variety of situations including shareholder disputes, project finance initiatives, distressed asset and business sales (and related litigation), debt enforcement and asset tracing. His practice also includes a number of other dispute resolution matters, including arbitration and general commercial litigation. Clients praise Crispin, saying he has "an amazing attention for detail and an ability to absorb and distill huge quantities of material," according to leading legal industry directory The Legal 500.
He has been a member of the INSOL Europe Technical Committee and has moderated a panel at the 2016 and 2017 INSOL Europe Annual Congresses (on claims trading and Brexit-related insolvency issues respectively). He has also appeared as a panelist at the INSOL Europe Eastern European Countries’ Committee Conference in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is a frequent contributor to International Corporate Rescue and contributed to Brunel University Britain in Europe Policy Report 2017 with an article on the possible effects of Brexit on the cross border insolvency issues.
