Vincenzo Paparo is a Partner in the Corporate Department and has served as co-head of the firm’s Finance Group. Vince focuses on commercial lending, real estate, corporate finance, workouts and restructurings, representing finance companies, investment and commercial banks, as well as institutional, high yield and distressed debt investors. He also represents equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in connection with senior lending facilities and subordinated bridge loans.

Vince regularly advises domestic and foreign commercial banks, and other financial institutions and corporations, in a broad range of financial transactions. He concentrates on bank finance, with an emphasis on senior secured credit including leveraged finance transactions, acquisitions and junior capital facilities. Vince has an extensive background in traditional asset-based financings, secured and unsecured syndicated bank financings, warehouse loans, letters of credit, and specialty financings. He also advises clients regarding Revised Article 9 issues and recent developments pertaining to junior capital lending.

In addition, Vince has extensive experience on a variety of major bankruptcy and creditors' rights transactions representing senior secured lenders, DIP and exit facility lenders, strategic lenders, and distressed debt funds. He plays a leading role in developing and implementing solutions for complicated and unique problems that often arise in multicreditor cases. Vince also has represented potential acquirers of assets of companies in Chapter 11, both under Section 363 and pursuant to plans of reorganization, as well as pursuant to Article 9. His restructuring experience is extensive in several industries - construction industry, real estate, automotive, health care, manufacturing and retail.

Vince started his career in commercial banking and held several positions including Vice President Commercial Finance and Assistant General Counsel at FleetBoston. While a commercial banker, he completed an intensive, one-year-credit training program which focused on corporate finance theory and capital markets and products, as well as credit training, accounting and financial statement analysis. He also was a partner in another major law firm in New York City. Vince is the chairman and trustee of the New York Rowing Association, a not-for-profit corporation.
