Theodore J. Ghorra is an Associate in the Capital Markets Group within the Corporate Department, resident in the New York office. He regularly handles financing transactions, including registered direct offerings, underwritten registered direct offerings, traditional follow-on underwritten offerings, private investments in public equity (PIPEs) and other private placements. Representative clients include Lazard Capital Markets/Lazard Frères; J.P. Morgan Securities LLC; Barclays Capital Inc.; Jefferies & Company, Inc.; Needham & Company, LLC; Global Hunter Securities LLC; and Kinderhook Partners L.P. He also advises clients with respect to general corporate and securities compliance matters.
During the past several years, Ted has assisted in and closed approximately 100 capital markets transactions and other financings involving both public and private companies. He is an integral part of the Proskauer corporate team that is consistently nationally ranked in the top three – by value and volume – for serving as underwriter's/placement agent’s counsel.
In addition, Ted works on a number of pro bono matters for clients in the areas of health care, the holocaust project and the arts.
