Robert Escalante is an Associate in the Litigation Department, resident in the Los Angeles office. Robert's practice covers a wide range of matters, including employment and consumer class actions, securities litigation, and single-plaintiff contract disputes. in state, and federal court and in administrative proceedings.
Robert represents clients from a variety of industries, including finance, energy, medical care, community service, and entertainment. Robert has also successfully represented clients in matters involving constitutional and immigration issues in federal and administrative proceedings.
In addition to litigating cases, Robert has contributed to various publications, including the California Employment Law Update and an article published in Bloomberg BNA relating to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Robert serves on the Associate Advisory Board of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, where he obtained trial experience as a volunteer lawyer prior to joining Proskauer.
