Peter J. Antoszyk is a Partner in the Corporate Department, co-head of the Distressed Debt Group, and a member of the Multi-Tranche Finance and Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Groups.

Peter concentrates on working with U.S. and international clients on a range of multi-tranche finance and distressed debt matters in syndicated and “club” deals. He has extensive experience in all types of multi-tranche and junior capital finance structures, including uni-tranche, one-stops, first-in/last-out financings, second lien loans, subordinated term loans, secured mezzanine, holdco structures, synthetic mezzanine, “silent firsts” and other creative junior capital structures in transactions ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. Peter’s experience includes domestic and cross-border transactions in North America and Europe in a wide array of industries.

Peter also has extensive experience in creditor rights and insolvency. He spends a substantial amount of time counseling funds, including non-traditional investor funds, in the strategic acquisition of distressed debt for control. He is regularly involved in restructurings, workouts and insolvency proceedings, including out-of-court debt-for-equity exchanges, section 363 acquisitions, DIP financings, chapter 11 plan acquisitions and restructurings, and other creditor rights strategies for taking control positions in both domestic and foreign jurisdictions.

Peter frequently lectures and writes articles for industry publications and has been quoted in Financier Worldwide, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Deal, The Secured Lender and other publications and appeared on CNN Street Sweep.
