Matthew Rochman is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Firm’s Fiduciary Litigation and Financial Services Groups. Matthew’s practice concentrates on complex commercial litigation, with a focus on probate and trust litigation.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Matt served as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) with the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami. As an AUSA, he represented the United States of America and its agencies in significant bankruptcy-related litigation, such as pursuing fraudulent transfer claims, defending non-dischargeability adversary proceedings and otherwise defending the United States’ claims in various capacities as a creditor in bankruptcy proceedings. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s office, Matthew worked in private practice at mid-sized firm in Miami, representing some of the world’s largest financial institutions in commercial litigation matters. He also represented bankruptcy trustees and secured creditors in all manner of bankruptcy and adversary proceedings.

In addition, Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant with a strong accounting background, which complements his litigation skill set. He previously worked as an audit intern at Ernst and Young.
