Kenneth E. Aldous is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department. While representing a broad range of interests in complex litigation before various federal and state courts, as an experienced lawyer qualified to practice in both the U.S. and U.K., Ken concentrates his practice on international, multi-jurisdictional and cross-border dispute resolution. He is an active member of the International Arbitration and Antitrust Groups and a contributing author to Proskauer on International Litigation and Dispute Resolution.

Ken’s activities in private practice have included a wide array of commercial disputes, including matters involving antitrust/competition law; telecommunications law; securities litigation; trade secret, copyright/trademark and other forms of intellectual property protection; non-compete and employment-related issues; insurance; sports law; legal ethics; and other commercial disputes. He also has maintained an active pro-bono caseload.

A sampling of Ken’s matters includes in-depth representations of:

  • A French cellular telephone provider in federal-court litigation against a U.S. equipment supplier
  • The Hong Kong-based executive of a U.S. energy company in ICDR/AAA arbitration
  • A major U.S. news corporation in a construction dispute involving a state-of-the-art production facility
  • A U.S. pharmaceutical company in ICC arbitration against a European state over the expropriation of foreign investments
  • A variety of financial services firms in FINRA arbitrations

Ken also has significant experience representing clients in internal and regulatory investigations, including matters involving the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and various securities regulators.
