Joshua J. Pollack is a senior Associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office, and a member of the Litigation Department and the Insurance Recovery & Counseling Group. He has a practice that focuses primarily in the areas of insurance coverage and general commercial litigation and involves clients in a broad range of industries, including financial institutions, manufacturing, entertainment, banking, and hospitality.

In the insurance recovery context, Josh regularly litigates on behalf of policyholders over various insurance coverage issues, including environmental, errors and omissions and comprehensive general liability claims. He also counsels clients with regard to designing pre-litigation insurance coverage strategies, and conducts policy review and analysis.

Josh also has significant experience handling general, complex commercial litigation for corporate and individual clients before federal and state courts and various arbitration forums, including AAA and FINRA. He has represented clients successfully in connection with a wide variety of matters, including claims for breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, civil RICO, and trademark and copyright infringement.

In addition, Josh is committed to giving back to the community. For example, he has participated in the Constitutional Rights Foundation’s “Courtroom to Classroom” project for several years, teaching the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to middle school students. Last year, Josh successfully represented an indigent client asserting claims for First Amendment retaliation. Josh lives in Los Angeles with his wife and five children.
