Irina Constantin is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department and a member of the Labor-Management Relations and California Employment Law Practice Groups. Irina represents and counsels employers through a wide range of traditional labor matters, including grievance arbitrations, labor negotiations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. She provides advice regarding the day-to-day administration of collective bargaining agreements, strategic responses to boycotts and organizational activities and the labor implications of corporate transactions.
In addition, Irina advises employers on a variety of employment law matters, including hiring practices, compliance with equal opportunity and wage and hour laws and the development and administration of personnel policies. She also represents management in litigation involving claims of discrimination, whistleblowing, harassment, wrongful discharge, defamation, breach of contract and misclassification.
Irina has experience working with clients across several industries, including telecommunications, financial services, entertainment and media, professional sports, higher education and manufacturing.
Irina has focused her pro bono practice on counseling and representing charter schools and other educational entities.
Prior to attending law school and joining Proskauer, Irina worked for UBS Wealth Management as an analyst and a Divisional Vice President in the Product Management & Development group.
