Ebony Ray is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department. Ebony handles a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including research, drafting, and preparing for state and federal litigations, labor grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, and discrimination actions. She also handles labor relations matters for public sector employers, including litigating matters before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board.
While attending Cornell Law School, she served as articles editor and symposium editor on the International Law Journal. Ebony was also a teaching assistant at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations for the class “Labor and Employment Law,” taught by a former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor.
Prior to law school, Ebony was an employment law contract administrator for the Madison Square Garden Company. During her tenure, she worked on a variety of employment matters, including employment contracts and separation agreements, investigations, performance initiatives, and employment policies and handbooks.
