Daniel St. Onge is a transactional lawyer with extensive experience representing clients in technology, data and intellectual property related transactions, and counseling clients on related issues. He practices in Proskauer’s Corporate Department and Technology, Media and Telecommunications group.
Dan focuses his practice on transactions involving intellectual property and technology, such as licensing, joint venture, strategic alliance, IT services, manufacturing, and distribution and supply agreements. He also works on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, secured lending, restructuring, and other transaction types where intellectual property and technology are important.
Fluent in emerging technologies, Dan has experience structuring and drafting agreements involving cloud and other hosted services, content licensing and distribution, e-commerce, computer software and hardware, outsourcing, provision of services and deliverables, and data privacy. He also routinely represents Proskauer in the drafting and negotiation of contracts with providers of technology-related products and services, and advises the firm’s information services department regarding intellectual property and data security issues. Dan also has significant experience in life sciences and pharmaceutical transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of collaboration, development, materials transfer and other licensing agreements.
