Christine is an Associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department in the Newark, New Jersey office, where she practices exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law.
During the course of her career in immigration law, Christine has represented multinational companies, including Fortune 500 companies, small and medium-sized entities, foundations, and individuals. She counsels those clients on a wide variety of immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas (including B, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, O, P, Q, TN, and V); permanent residence (including family-based, diversity lottery, and all employment-based categories); naturalization and nationality; and the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures related to immigration sponsorship, employment eligibility verification systems, public access files and related issues. In addition, Christine greatly enjoys providing training to internal and external audiences.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Christine was an associate attorney with a major international immigration law firm for seven years, serving with that firm's New York, Dallas and New Jersey offices. She also served as a business immigration paralegal for five years. Before beginning her legal career, Christine spent more than two years in international human resources at a major international insurance company.
Christine enjoys speaking, writing and editing in the area of immigration law. She regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on business immigration topics, co-authored a book chapter for the 2000-2001 American Immigration Lawyers Association Immigration and Nationality Law Handbook, edited a chapter for the 2003-2004 American Immigration Lawyers Association Immigration and Nationality Law Handbook, and co-edited an article in the upcoming 2004-2005 American Immigration Lawyers Association Immigration and Nationality Handbook.
