Bradley J. Lorden is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Insurance Recovery & Counseling Group. His practice focuses on general commercial litigation, as well as mediation and arbitration, and he often appears before state and federal courts. Brad represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on insurance coverage litigation and general business disputes.
Brad’s insurance coverage experience includes representing and counseling clients in matters involving first-party property and business interruption, general liability claims, cyber liability, recall and product contamination, environmental and asbestos liability claims. In his general commercial litigation practice, Brad represents and counsels clients in a variety of general commercial business disputes, including those concerning breach of contract, non-compete & trade secrets, shareholder class-action defense, bankruptcy and business torts. In addition, Brad maintains an active pro bono practice and received Proskauer’s Golden Gavel award in 2012 in recognition of his work representing a prisoner in a civil rights action.
Brad has lectured at continuing legal education courses and is also a regular contributor to Proskauer’s Minding Your Business Commercial Litigation Blog and Proskauer’s Risk and Recovery Insurance Blog.
Brad earned J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Loyola University Chicago, where he was the editor-in-chief of the Loyola Consumer Law Review, a fellow in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition, and a member of Loyola’s Life After Innocence Clinic, a student group dedicated to helping exonerated men and women return to society after their wrongful convictions.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Brad was an account executive for a Fortune 500 third party logistics firm.
