Anthony S. Cacace is an Associate in the New York office, where he practices in the ERISA Litigation Group. Anthony has assisted in defending clients against ERISA "stock-drop" lawsuits, improper denials of benefit claims and breach of ERISA fiduciary duty claims, among others. He also counsels benefit plan clients during Department of Labor and other governmental investigations. Anthony regularly represents multiemployer benefit funds seeking to collect withdrawal liability and delinquent contributions from contributing employers.
Anthony has authored several articles on "hot topics" in the ERISA litigation field for Bloomberg Law Reports and serves as a contributing author to the American Bar Association's Employee Benefits Law handbook. He also prepares presentations on the current trends in ERISA litigation, including developments in ERISA class action jurisprudence and legal and fiduciary updates.
