Our Private Investment Funds Group is one of the best and most widely recognized in the world – a dynamic, interdisciplinary team of lawyers that offers a complete package of services from fund formations, deals and exits to investor representation and formation of funds of funds and other sophisticated structures.
Since the industry began, our group has been providing innovative solutions to clients worldwide. With lawyers located in Boston, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, São Paulo and Washington, DC, we offer a global perspective and partnership with the industry’s major players, which gives us invaluable insight into the latest tax, accounting and regulatory developments as well as access to a vast network of contacts that we continually draw upon on behalf of our clients.
We are a true leader in the area of private equity. From 2007-2009, the group has represented sponsors in closing more than 320 funds with over $78 billion in committed capital, and closed more than 1180 investments in all types of funds representing over $43.5 billion.
