Mergers & Acquisitions

Overview Experience Press Room

Overview

In a transactional environment that requires more creativity, savvy and interdisciplinary know-how than ever before to get deals done, our Mergers & Acquisitions Group brings all these capabilities and more to the table in every aspect of buying, selling and combining companies and businesses, from the middle to the high end of the market. We advise clients on matters in nearly every major business sector, including financial services, life sciences, technology, telecommunications, lodging and gaming, manufacturing, chemicals, publishing, sports, entertainment and real estate.

In addition to the volume of U.S. representations in which we are involved, our cross-border transactions comprise a significant part of the work we do for our global client base, including clients in the U.S. acquiring and disposing of assets held by companies outside the country. Another unique benefit we offer is our leadership in private equity investments, providing access to more than 300 firms and institutional investors as well as tremendous knowledge of market trends, all of which provide our clients with a strategic advantage in a competitive and complex environment.

Our group has been consistently recognized by leading ranking publications for our work around the world, with Chambers USA and US Legal 500 ranking our practice in their top tier and quoting our clients about our integral role in getting their deals done. Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst named us to its list of “Most Active Law Firms” (by number of buyouts) and our team also regularly appears on Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and MergerMarket league tables, in the U.S. and globally for involvement in completed deals.
