International Labor & Employment

Overview Experience Press Room

Overview

As commerce grows increasingly globalized, the necessity of addressing human resources issues on a multinational basis continues to expand. Our International Labor & Employment Law Group meets clients’ growing need for legal assistance in areas both familiar and brand new, including employment, reductions in force, executive compensation and benefits, data privacy and diversity, representing them in any industry doing business around the world.

We are a truly global team, with members in our offices across the United States and in Paris and London as well as close cooperative relationships with law firms in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia that are experienced in labor and employment, allowing us to provide the best regional representation and keep careful watch over the trends and new developments that affect our clients across the globe.

Chambers Europe praises our “truly international” practice and says that co-head Yasmine Tarasewicz, ranked in the top tier, is hailed by sources for her “eloquence, strong personality and superstar profile.” Co-head Betsy Plevan is also given a first-tier ranking and is described as a “seasoned trial lawyer with a great strategic mind.” In addition, co-head Aaron Schindel is widely respected by both clients and within the legal industry for his work across the labor and employment spectrum, serving as chair of the International Employment Law Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s International Section.
