Overview Experience Press Room

Our Capital Markets Group represents a broad cross section of bulge bracket, middle-market and boutique investment banks, as well as public and private companies of all sizes and industries around the world, in a wide variety of public, Rule 144A and Regulation S, and private debt and equity transactions. We are consistently recognized as having one of the best capital markets practices based on the breadth and depth of our capabilities. For example, Chambers USA and US Legal 500 recognize our lawyers for their "tough negotiating skills," "unparalleled business acumen," "expertise and deep industry knowledge," "world class skills, judgment, work ethic and professionalism" and as being among "the sharpest corporate lawyers on Wall Street" and "the best capital markets lawyers in the nation."

According to US Legal 500, we were one of only seven firms in 2010 in the United States that was ranked for issuer and underwriter-side representation in both equity and high-yield. In addition, we achieve top rankings in Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters' league tables for U.S. debt and equity-linked transactions and consistently rank as one of the top three firms—by value and volume—for registered direct, PIPE and similar transactions. In fact, within the past 12 months, we have advised clients on deals of all types valued in the aggregate in excess of $20 billion.

Our practice is comprised of lawyers around the globe, from New York to Los Angeles and Latin America to Asia. We are significantly supported by our colleagues in our health care, life sciences, technology, media and communications, lodging and gaming, financial services and other industry groups, as well as environmental, tax and labor, which enables us to provide our clients top-notch service across virtually every industry and transaction type.

In addition, our capital markets and finance teams work seamlessly together on behalf of leading private equity firms and institutional lenders to navigate the complex financing required for the acquisition and takeover of companies, from negotiating the terms of a transaction to associated senior, mezzanine and equity financing.
