August 19, 2008 (Boston, MA) - Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with more than 750 lawyers worldwide, is proud to announce that Gary Creem, an associate in the Corporate Department of the Boston office, has been named an "Up & Coming Lawyer" by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
The magazine’s 12th annual "Up & Coming Lawyer" list honors Massachusetts lawyers that have been nominated by their peers for achieving extraordinary success and displaying potential for even greater accomplishments. In order to be selected, a lawyer must be a member of the bar for 10 years or less. This year’s honorees were announced in the August 18 issue of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.

Mr. Creem’s practice focuses on financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financing, recapitalizations, going-private transactions, growth capital, cash flow and asset-based financings, cross-border financings, and restructurings and workouts. He specializes in representing traditional and non-traditional lenders in connection with junior capital financings, including mezzanine loans, second lien financings, unitranche and last-out transactions, holdco note purchases, and other junior capital-related securities. In addition, he regularly negotiates intercreditor agreements and other complex interlender arrangements.
Mr. Creem received his B.A from Tufts University in 1992 and his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1998.
