Proskauer Rose Announces 83 Lawyers Ranked Among City's Best In New York Super Lawyers - 2007

Named As Leaders in 35 Practice Categories, "Top 100" and "Top 50 Female" Lists

September 27, 2007 (New York, NY) - Eighty-three lawyers from Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with more than 750 lawyers worldwide, have been named in New York Super Lawyers 2007, a peer-ranked guide to the top legal practitioners in the New York metropolitan area.

This year's New York Super Lawyers accompanied the September 23 edition of The New York Times Magazine and highlighted 83 Proskauer lawyers as leaders in a total of 35 practice categories. In addition, partners Bettina Plevan and Kathleen McKenna were included in the "Top 100," which listed the 100 lawyers who received the most votes, and joined partner Gail Port on the "Top 50 Female" list.

"I congratulate everyone named to this year's Super Lawyers," said Allen I. Fagin, Chairman of Proskauer. "It is gratifying to see our colleagues singled out across this diverse range of practice areas, demonstrating that, as the firm has grown, we have remained leaders in the areas where we always excelled and expanded with great success into many new ones."

The Proskauer lawyers included in this year's list were nominated based on peer recognition and professional accomplishments including verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, and honors and awards, among other criteria.
