Proskauer Rose Congratulates 80 Lawyers Named in The Best Lawyers in America® 2008

Ninety-Seven Practice Categories Represented in Peer-Ranked Guidebook

September 26, 2007 (New York, NY) - Proskauer Rose LLP, a global law firm with more than 750 lawyers worldwide, is pleased to announce that 80 of its lawyers in 97 practice categories have been selected in The Best Lawyers in America® 2008, an annual peer-ranked guide that will be published in December. This year's rankings mark a 70 percent increase in the number of Proskauer lawyers named since the 2006 edition.

Of the 80 Proskauer lawyers selected for this year's Best Lawyers, 20 have been named in the guide at least 10 years in a row, and five have been named at least 20 years. Fifteen Proskauer lawyers were included for the first time. The rankings are based on extensive peer-review evaluations from thousands of the top lawyers in the country.

The firm was also ranked number one in the United States, New York State and New York City in Sports Law. In addition, Proskauer was ranked number one in New York State in Corporate and Health Care Law, and number one in New York City in Corporate, Health Care, and Labor and Employment Law.

"I'm very proud to see such a strong showing from our lawyers in this year's edition," said Allen I. Fagin, Chairman of Proskauer. "We strive to provide an exceptional level of service with the most talented and dedicated group of lawyers in the country, and it's extremely gratifying to receive recognition of our work from our peers."
