Sandak, partners in the firm's Labor and Employment Law Department, were inducted into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as Fellows. The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is a non-profit professional association that honors leading lawyers in the practice of labor and employment law and strives to promote achievement, advancement and excellence in the practice while providing a forum for discussion and collegiality among its Fellows. Attorneys must be nominated by two current Fellows in good standing, followed by an evaluation by the College's Board of Governors.

He also negotiates major collective bargaining agreements and tries arbitrations and litigations arising from the collective bargaining relationship. Mr. Sandak is a partner based in Proskauer's Newark, New Jersey office and has more than 20 years of employment law experience as a trial lawyer and civil litigator. He defends employers accused of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations before courts and government agencies. He has substantial experience arbitrating, mediating and negotiating the settlement of employment disputes. Mr. Sandak was an adjunct professor of law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, teaching litigation and advocacy skills, and has been named one of the leading employment lawyers in New Jersey by Chambers USA.
