August 28, 2006 - (New York, NY) Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with more than 650 lawyers in the United States and Europe, is pleased to announce that Paul Salvatore and Lawrence R. Sandak, partners in the firm's Labor and Employment Law Department, were inducted into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as Fellows. Proskauer Rose has one of the country's most well-regarded employment law groups, of which Mr. Salvatore and Mr. Sandak have long been an integral part.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is a non-profit professional association that honors leading lawyers in the practice of labor and employment law and strives to promote achievement, advancement and excellence in the practice while providing a forum for discussion and collegiality among its Fellows. Attorneys must be nominated by two current Fellows in good standing, followed by an evaluation by the College's Board of Governors.

"We offer well-deserved congratulations to Paul and Larry - this is a very prestigious honor for them and the firm," said Allen I. Fagin, Chairman of Proskauer Rose and himself a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. "Their induction is truly indicative of the skill and caliber they bring to their practices and the value their peers place on their contributions." Mr. Salvatore is a partner in Proskauer's New York office, representing employers in all types of employment litigation, arbitration and mediation, providing advice and guidance that includes counseling employers on how to avoid litigation and achieve their employee relations objectives through techniques such as proactive human resources policies and alternative dispute resolution. He also negotiates major collective bargaining agreements and tries arbitrations and litigations arising from the collective bargaining relationship. Mr. Salvatore has been ranked by Chambers USA as one of "America's Leading Lawyers for Business" in the field of employment law and is also listed in Best Lawyers in America; New York "Superlawyers"; Global Counsel Handbook; and Labour and Employee Benefits, the PLC Cross-Border Handbook of leading labor and employee benefit lawyers worldwide.

Mr. Sandak is a partner based in Proskauer's Newark, New Jersey office and has more than 20 years of employment law experience as a trial lawyer and civil litigator. He defends employers accused of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations before courts and government agencies. He has substantial experience arbitrating, mediating and negotiating the settlement of employment disputes. Mr. Sandak was an adjunct professor of law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, teaching litigation and advocacy skills, and has been named one of the leading employment lawyers in New Jersey by Chambers USA.

Mr. Salvatore and Mr. Sandak join several other Proskauer attorneys who have been named Fellows of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers including Mr. Fagin, Howard Ganz, Lawrence Lorber, Kathleen McKenna, Bettina Plevan, Howard Shapiro, Arthur Silbergeld and Allan Weitzman.
