Nation's Largest Voluntary Bar Association Taps Proskauer Partner

On January 27, 2006, Peter J.W. Sherwin was elected as Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association and will take office on June 1, 2006. 

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), with more than 70,000 members, is the nation's largest voluntary statewide association of lawyers.  The New York State Bar Association is the official statewide organization of the legal profession. It is composed principally of practicing attorneys, judges, law teachers, and many non-practicing lawyers who are business executives, government officials, court administrators and so forth. It represents practitioners in specialized areas of law, as well as affiliated, law-related organizations and groups with special interests or needs.  Congratulations Peter!
