September 8, 2014 (Boston) – Proskauer partners Sarah Cherry and Kimberly Mottley have been named among The National Law Journal’s 2014 Boston Rising Stars. The Rising Stars program recognizes Boston’s 40 most promising lawyers under the age of 40 who are considered innovators with strong leadership qualities.

Ms. Cherry, a partner in the firm’s Private Investment Funds Group, is described as “skilled at guiding investors in transactions and internal partner dynamics,” and praised for having “earned the trust of clients.” She was also recognized as one of the “Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts” for 2013 by Massachusetts Super Lawyers magazine and has been named one of the publication’s “Rising Stars” for eight consecutive years.

Ms. Mottley, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department specializing in Intellectual Property Litigation, is described as “advis[ing] technology companies on complex trademark and patent cases,” and is noted as “represent[ing] some of the firm's most prominent clients.” She was also recognized by Massachusetts Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star” in 2012 and 2013, and as among the “Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts” in 2013.
