October 7, 2015 (London) – International law firm Proskauer has been shortlisted for London Office of the Year by Legal Week’s 2015 British Legal Awards. One of just seven firms shortlisted in this category, Proskauer is recognized for its recent growth and many successes in London over the past few years. The British Legal Awards serve as a showcase for the achievements of the UK’s legal sector. The winners will be decided by an independent judging panel and presented on November 25.

Growing from seven lawyers in 2008 to more than 50 today, the London team has been integral in accelerating Proskauer’s international reach and strengthening its core platform. High-profile arrivals in the last year have included Steven Davis, James Howe and Matt Rees in Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions; Alexander Griffith in Finance; Bruno Bertrand-Delfau in Private Investment Funds; and Robert Gaut in Tax. To accommodate its expansion, Proskauer increased its office space, moving to state-of-the-art quarters in the Heron Tower in Bishopsgate in March 2015.
