May 20, 2016 (NEW YORK, NY) – Proskauer was shortlisted in the inaugural Chambers Diversity Awards 2016 in the most inclusive firm for minority lawyers category.

The Chambers Diversity awards, for both private practice and in-house lawyers, reflect achievements in furthering the advancement of diversity within the legal profession. In addition, the awards celebrate the achievements of lawyers of diverse backgrounds and shine a spotlight on firms and individuals demonstrating an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion in the profession.

The Firm is recognized for several noteworthy programs and initiatives, such as the Diverse Lawyer Mentoring Circle Program, Women’s Sponsorship Program, Diverse Lawyer Network, recruitment of diverse lawyers, and other pipeline initiatives.

Last year, Proskauer was recognized by the New York Law Journal’s 2015 Diversity Initiative Project for two of these programs, the Women’s Sponsorship Program and the Diverse Lawyer Mentoring Circle program.
