April 17, 2015 (Boston) – Proskauer Corporate associate Kevin Nolan has been selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as an honoree at its annual Excellence in the Law event. Honorees are nominated by their peers and selected by a MLW committee based on their client work, accomplishments and pro bono work throughout the year. Mr. Nolan will be honored in the “Up & Coming Lawyers” category. The event, which celebrates excellence throughout the Massachusetts legal community, will be held at the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel on May 14.

Mr. Nolan represents private equity funds and institutional investors on a broad range of issues including fund formations, secondary transactions and portfolio investments. In addition to his private equity funds practice, Mr. Nolan is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono initiative, including the representation of Mothers. He also served as part of the pro bono team that completed a complex ownership transfer on behalf of Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia, for which Proskauer was awarded the 2015 Pro Bono Citizenship Prize by The Asian Lawyer.
