| Biography:
Seth Cannon is an associate in the Patent Law and Intellectual Property Practice Groups at Proskauer Rose LLP. Mr. Cannon concentrates his practice on the analysis, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, both in the United States and abroad. He has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and in preparing validity and infringement opinions. He also has experience in patent and trade secret litigation matters.
Mr. Cannon has experience in a broad range of technologies including telecommunications, digital signal processing, optical and electrical networking, control systems, analog and digital electronics, software, and mechanical devices.
Mr. Cannon received his J.D. in 2004 from Case Western Reserve University Law School, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2005 and his BS in Electrical Engineering in 2000 from Brigham Young University. While in engineering school, Mr. Cannon was a research assistant in the Brigham Young University Multiple Agent Intelligent Coordination & Control (MAGICC) Lab. Mr. Cannon also assisted with programming and testing for a small start-up on a computer system used to analyze television viewing behavior. While in law school, Mr. Cannon served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Case Western Journal of International Law.
He is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
