| Biography:
Jordan is an associate in the Real Estate Department of the Firm’s Boca Raton, Florida office. He joined the Firm in 2007.
Jordan’s practice involves the representation of many clients in the negotiation, structuring and documenting of commercial real estate asset transactions. He represents landlords and tenants in office building, shopping center and warehouse leasing, including the negotiation and documentation thereof. He represents residential and commercial developers in the purchase and sale of apartment complexes, office buildings and retail centers. He has represented both lenders and borrowers in connection with institutional and private financing. Jordan has represented national retailers and investors in acquisition and leasing opportunities.
Notable transaction include:
- Representation of seller in the sale of multifamily apartment complexes through out the country
- Representation of purchaser to acquire and finance an existing beach-front hotel
- Representation of purchaser in negotiation of contracts to acquire land and develop senior living facilities and offices
- Representation of tenant in negotiation of a build-to-suit lease agreement for its state distribution center
- Representation of borrower in re-financing its existing real estate portfolio totaling $200 million
Prior to joining Proskauer, Jordan was a real estate associate for Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His primary responsibilities at Ruden McClosky involved the acquisition and sale of apartment complexes and office buildings.
Jordan received his Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. He received his Juris Doctor in 2002 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as Notes Editor of the Cardozo Women’s Law Journal.
Jordan is a member of the Florida Bar, New York State Bar and the New Jersey Bar.
