| Biography:
Douglas B. Frank is a partner in Proskauer Rose LLP’s Real Estate Department in Los Angeles.
Doug’s expansive practice includes a special focus on secured lending, mezzanine lending and structured finance activities, as well as acquisition and sales transactions. He advises commercial banks, life insurance companies, fund investors and advisors, and pension funds with respect to real estate-secured lending and structured finance activities for land acquisitions and construction. He also provides counsel in regard to permanent, term, revolving, workout, conduit/securitization, and mezzanine financings, as well as advising institutional and individual investors on the negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale documents, ground leases, management, and joint venture agreements.
Prior to joining the Firm, Doug was a partner in the Real Estate Department of Mayer Brown’s Los Angeles office. He is a frequent speaker, panelist, and member of the Steering Committee of the Real Estate Section of the Los Angeles County Bar.
Doug received his B.A. from Northwestern University and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
