Sandra J. Badin is an associate in the Litigation Department of Proskauer Rose. Her practice encompasses Intellectual Property law, Labor and Employment law, general commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Ms. Badin was an associate at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York and represented clients in connection with securities litigation, corporate governance issues and white collar criminal defense. While at Fried Frank, Ms. Badin also worked on various pro bono matters including cases involving the Rockefeller Drug Law Resentencing Act and the Violence Against Women Act.
Ms. Badin is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a semi-finalist in the Ames Moot Court Competition. She received her Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from Trinity College, University of Toronto where she was awarded the Hugh Stevenson Award for Excellence in the Humanities and Social Sciences and the Malcolmson Prize in Peace and Conflict Studies. She also received a Master of Arts Degree from York University, graduating with High Distinction, and a Master of Philosophy degree from Columbia University with Distinction.
During law school, Ms. Badin spent a summer clerking for Associate Justice Lorene Ferguson of the Navajo Nation Supreme Court, and worked as an intern in the Immigration Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services. She also took a year off during law school to be a Graduate Fellow in Ethics at the Emond J. Safra Center for Ethics and the Professions, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Ms. Badin is admitted to practice in New York.
