| Biography:
Nigel S. Austin is a partner in the firm's Corporate Department and is a member of the firm's M&A/Private Equity Group. Mr. Austin focuses his practice on domestic and international private equity transactions and leveraged buyouts. He advises private equity clients in connection with the structuring and negotiating of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, venture and growth capital investments, restructurings, debt and equity financings and fund formation. Mr. Austin also acts for private equity portfolio companies in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, refinancings and executive compensation.
Mr. Austin received his LLB from The London School of Economics and Political Science and attended the Law School of the Law Society of England and Wales. Mr. Austin is admitted to practice in New York and is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
