Biography:

Andrew D. Rosenthal is an associate in the Real Estate Department of the Firm's Boca Raton, Florida office. He joined the Firm in 2006.

Andrew handles a broad range of complex commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions. Andrew represents a variety of real estate clients including:

  • Lenders and borrowers in connection with land acquisition, construction, permanent, term, and revolving financing transactions.

  • Landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of commercial office, retail and industrial leases, including multi-tenant and single user facilities.

  • Buyers and sellers in the acquisition and sale of commercial office and industrial properties, retail shopping complexes and undeveloped land.

Notable transactions include:

  • Representation of seller in the sale of three commercial office buildings which involved the defeasance of two CMBS loans.

  • Representation of a private equity group in the acquisition of a $44,000,000 private school

  • Representation of landlord in the negotiation of office space leases for a 52,776 square foot office building complex

Prior to joining Proskauer, Andrew was an associate with a real estate law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida specializing primarily in the representation of commercial banks, life insurance companies, and other institutional lenders in complex loan transactions. His primary responsibilities involved preparing and negotiating loan documents, conducting due diligence, including review of title and survey, liens and judgment searches, and zoning and land use issues.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts with high distinction from The Pennsylvania State University in 2001. He received his Juris Doctor in 2004 from Temple University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
