Stephen Cole is an associate in the Litigation Department and Intellectual Property Practice Group at Proskauer Rose LLP. His practice is concentrated on patent prosecution, product clearance, patent validity and infringement analyses, licensing and transfer of intellectual property rights, and intellectual property due diligence in corporate transactions.
During law school, he externed for Judge Jeffrey R. Howard of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. In addition, Stephen represented and counseled clients at the Administrative Advocacy Clinic. Stephen was also a senior editor for IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review, and authored “NTP v. RIM: The Diverging Law Between System and Method Claim Infringement,” 5 Pierce L. Rev. 347 (2007).
Stephen received his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2007. He received B.S. degrees, cum laude, in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Massachusetts.
