Mylene Brooks serves as Special Employment Counsel to the Firm's Labor and Employment Department in Los Angeles.

Ms. Brooks represents employers in all facets of labor and employment law, including hiring practices, equal employment opportunity issues, wrongful termination and fair employment practice litigation, issues relating to wage and hour law, disability and accommodations, leaves of absence, compensation, company policies, discipline, layoffs, and terminations.

Prior to Proskauer Rose, Ms. Brooks was Executive Counsel at The Walt Disney Company in the Corporate Legal Department, Litigation and Employment Practices, where she represented The Walt Disney Company and ABC, Inc., and their affiliated and subsidiary companies in all aspects of litigation, including employment, wage and hour, copyright and theft of idea, personal injury and contract disputes.

Ms. Brooks received her J.D. in 1994 from Loyola Law School, her Masters in Counselor Education from California State University, San Bernardino, and her B.S. in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
